How we work...
1.
The Brief

In this stage we meet with the client and take a detailed survey and analysis of the requirements about how the client wishes to use the space, their personal style, lifestyle and aspirations for the project. Here, through our visit from floor plans, photographs as well as making clear the time scale and budget of the project. Following on from this we will send a proposal to the client outlining the brief and with an estimated cost for our design fees.

2.
Schematic Design

Understanding the brief in detail we will present the concept including space planning, furniture layouts, zonal plans and mood boards presentations which includes samples, finishes and imagery of suggested furniture.

It is our job that we work together with the client to evoke their personality through space planning, material selection and furniture. During this stage we invite the client into our studio, here we encourage the client to expand out of their comfort zone and to provide as much feedback as possible, so we ensure that the brief has been achieved.

3.
Design Development

Once the schematic designs have been approved, we progress to develop the final furniture boards, specification list and interior elevations, which will be presented for the client’s approval. At this stage we will also present all furniture items and accessories and an installation date will be agreed.

4.
Realisation

Here design becomes a reality and works will commence. Our project coordinators and designers will attend regular site meetings to ensure our designs are being carried out to their exact specifications, and that the project is progressing as planned. The client doesn’t have to do anything, and we do everything as we act as point of contact for all trades. We will keep the client updated throughout as well as oversee the snagging, to make sure the project has been completed to the highest standard and allowing our client to have peace of mind.

5.
Lastly, Follow Up

Lucy Victoria Designs will follow up with each clients, ensuring the design is met all expectations, both functionally and visually.
